Apartment Paco

The view from the balcony is first class, comfy accommodation and great facilities. Good WIFI connection. The people looking after the apartment only live next door and were very helpful on the two occasions we had to ask for assistance and we received a really lovely 'bunch' of chocolates on our departure. Plenty of hot water as there was 5 of us staying at the apartment and in some places we have stayed before the water runs cold before the last person has a shower, but not here. There are shutters on all the windows, so this allows you to block sunlight if you want a lie in!! From the balcony you can see part of the old city walls and you will see all the passing tourist boats on their daily trips to Lokrum island. You can also see the cable cars on their way up to the top alongside Fort Imperial on Srd. You can also use the facilities of the Hotel Rixos Libertas including the pools and spa but this is at a cost of HRK 100 (about £10) per day. If you want to get a taxi anywhere just go into the hotel reception and they will order one. It is only about 20 minute walk into the old town and about 35 minutes into Lapad in the opposite direction.
