Apartments Franka Saplunara

My friend and I stayed on Mljet island for 3 nights (end of June) in Franka Apartments and we wish we stayed longer! The room was just like on the pictures, and the view of the Adriatic sea from the terrace was amazing! First of all, Ognjen always kindly and quickly replied to all of our questions (and we had quite many of them :) ). When we arrived there, we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. Franka Apartments is run by Simon and his family - nice and polite people who were always ready to help us! The rooms are located very close to the Saplunara beach just as written in the description. If you are looking for a clean beautiful beach and yet not crowded, then this is the perfect place to relax and chill! Besides, the air was not that humid which made our stay even more pleasant. Franka Apartments also has a restaurant attached to it where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The choice is not big, but the food is very tasty! Grilled fish, grilled vegetables and grilled sardines with a squeeze of lemon is a must try! Simon is responsible for grilling. He uses some special tree branches instead of charcoal to grill food which gives the food an extra delicious smoky flavour. There was also wifi available in our room and down in restaurant, but the internet connection was not that strong. Altogether, we were very pleased with the room and the beach. We would totally recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing beach vacation with friendly hosts. Cheers, Nara and Delya
