Old Town Budget (Klara)

Within the walls of the old town in a convenient location to access all the sites and cafes. Initially there was no one at the small reception office and signage to indicate reception location was minimal. Perplexing. Someone finally showed up to show us our apartment. Clean, beds were good, wifi very good. Negatives were the sewer smell in both bedrooms if you opened the window, also air conditioner did not function. A/C unit was past it's prime. We were lucky to have relatively cool weather. We each were given one bath towel but the kitchen lacked a towel or sponge or anything to allow us to wash dishes or wipe counters. We asked the staff at the reception for just one towel but they refused to give us anything and were abrupt and rude about our asking. They had already charged our credit card so I guess they didn't have to be nice or helpful any longer.
