It was a very pleasant stay in the Rooms Lavanda. The room was very nice with a spectacular view. The price was quite reasonable and the owner is very friendly. When he saw I did not have an umbrella for the rain, he immediately ran to get one for me! I wish I could have stayed longer.
The location is also extremely central.

Beautiful room and friendly owners

We had a fantastic stay at Lavanda and Ruzmarin. The room although simple, was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had the most fantastic view of the old city.
Our hosts made us feel so welcome it felt as if we were staying with old friends.The location is great too as long as you don't mind a few steps!
I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent guesthouse in the old city

The Lavanda &amp; Ruzmarin Rooms are perfect for an absolutely brilliant stay in Dubrovnik! The hosts are so friendly, the views looking down to the Old Town are amazing and the rooms are spotless. Memorable! 

Delightful Dubrovnik!

Foi uma estadia muito agradável desde o início! Fomos recebidos pelo dono do apartamento, uma pessoa extremamente educada e solicito. Foi nos buscar no início da cidade (garantindo que não nos perdêssemos pelas inúmeras ruazinhas de Dubrovnick). Ao chegar no apartamento, a esposa dele nos aguardava oferecendo chá e café (muito queridos)!  Recebemos o mapa e muitas orientações úteis!!! 
O quarto tinha uma linda vista (privilégio) e era bastante confortável d silencioso! Sentimos em casa! Conforto e privacidade  fizeram parte desta estadia!

Nice clean room near the wall in the city centre with wc + shower and aircondition close to great restaurant Lady Pi-Pi. Room has friendly owner and beautiful view. 5 minuts to the main street a 6 min to the port.

Wonderful room, city and time

Location is not excellent (do not understand other reviews) is upstairs in a tiny street and then the room we had was located on the third floor of the house (more steps). 
The room is clean and also the bathroom but all the water from the shower goes out into the floor.
Very low value for money. we expected more.

We expected more

We have been at Lavanda &amp; Ruzmarin for 1 week this August, and we loved this little accommodation.
It's tidy, romantic, in the quite part of the old town, and it's unique with its great view and charming owners.
Some negative critics you'll have to expect (and the owners are not to be blamed for):
-As it's just underneath the roof, in summer it gets quite hot, but if you turn on the air condition it cools down within 5 minutes.
-The bathroom (especially the shower &quot;cabin&quot;) is super small and the floor around it get's very wet
-Be prepared, if you leave the window open at night, that it can be very loud in the morning. Not because of tourists, but because of the birds and church bells.
-It's on the highest part of the old town, so a lot of stairs to walk to reach it if you have been in the centre
However, we can highly recommend it and would definitely return.

Great view and charming owners!

It's like your home: comfortable, clean, good treatment, lovely... in Dubrovnik -the  city of the sta(i)rs. All the communication in English (great!). Lots of thanx, Darija and her family: You were very useful and lovely. See you next time at home.

Home sweet home

Clean, beautiful, the best views of the city, the landlors who live in the same house (Slovo &amp; Darija) are incredibly kind and helpful. The steep stairs you need to follow to get into the apartment make you feel like being in a garden. We will always reccommend this place if you are looking for a room (Soba) in Dubrovnik. We would go again.

The best place you can stay in Dubrovnik

Unser Appartement bei Darija  war liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Blick über die Altstadt und die Stadtmauer.Das Zimmer war mit einem Kühlschrank und einer kleinen Sitzecke ausgestattet,  so konnte man das Frühstück leicht selbst zubereiten.  Bäcker und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten  waren nicht weit entfernt. Das Badezimmer war klein aber mit Fenster und alles sehr sauber. Darija war sehr hilfsbereit und gab uns viele Vorschläge für Sehenswürdigkeiten. 

Dubrovnik ist eine sehenswerte  Stadt 

The room was very nice, the location very good, neat the center but quiet and calm. Slobo and Daria are very good hosts, friendly and helpful if you are any question or need information.
If we return to Dubrovnik, we would come back to Lavanda &amp; Ruzmarin rooms!

Very nice room and beautiful views

I Stayed at Rooms Lavanda and Ruzmarin for several days and loved the whole experience. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and engaging. The location is great, with a view overlooking the Old Town and the bay. You do need to be okay with going up a lot of steps to reach your room, so if you have mobility problems it wouldn't be the best choice.

Great Room in Old Town Dubrovnik

We stayed this room for 4 days. The owner is very kind. He recommended us good restaurant. The room is clean and very comfortable, also very quite and good view! Hope many people come here and have a nice stay!

Wondeful orner, comfortable room!

Excellent location within the town walls.  The view is probably the best part.  The room itself is clean and the hosts were delightful and very helpful especially with restaurant suggestions.  He was also very organized and made sure we made our airport transfer.  Bathroom is small, but no problem and good hot water.

The room was very comfortable and had an amazing view of the city and of the ocean. The owners are lovely; very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also nice. Would definitely recommend to stay here! 

Wonderful spot!

Stayed in the top floor room - lovely spacious accommodation with a friendly, quiet atmosphere. 
Only stayed for two nights but you couldn't get a better location and view of the Old Town (and Kings Landing to all those GoT fans!)

Fantastic Old Town location

We had a great time at Lavanda. Gorgeous views of the walls and sea. 
The room and bathroom was spotless and the couple that own the house were very welcoming.

Fabulous location and spotless!!

Slobo and his wife were wonderful hosts, their property is perfectly positioned within the old town. We were very lucky to have such a good birds eye view of the old town from our room. Everything was clean and comfortable plus the WIFI worked perfectly. We would highly recommend Rooms Lavander &amp; Ruzmarin to our family and friends. Ps we booked about 7months in advance!

Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this place to all who are planning on visiting Dubrovnik. Make sure to book the room where we stayed because the view is really superb. Birds greeted us every morning and full moon sent us to sleep every night. Imagine sipping a cup of coffee every morning with that great view. I suggest you get their airport transfers service if you are new to the place. They will help you get to your room fast and help you with your luggage. The family who hosted us are also nice and very warm (thumbs up!).

Veramente incantevole la 'cuccia' riservatami dai proprietari. Una meravigliosa mansarda sui tetti di Dubrovnik, confortevole e funzionale, oltre che piena di una speciale atmosfera. I padroni di casa sono stati gentilissimi e garbati. Consiglierei a ogni mio amico di andarci.

2 days in Dubrovnik old town

We spent only one night in this beautiful guesthouse - unfortunately. The view from the attica-room over the whole old city, including the city wall and till the sea is just incredible, gorgeous and absolutely worth the many, many steps to climb. But only book it if you are steady on your feet, and better bring a rucksack or a small bag than a suitcase. The guesthouse is maybe at the highest point of Dubrovnik. The host who grew up in this house is very kind and friendly. the room is cosy, cute, stylish, absolutely quiet and well equiped, but quite expensive.

PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE HOUSE RULES

1. Close the windows when you are going out of the apartment.
2. Extinguish all electricity consumers when you are going out of the apartment (air conditioning, heating, TV, light...)
3. Produce no noise after midnight (12 AM)
4. If bringing company over please do not disturb the neighbours and note that if extra people are sleeping at the apartment, charges may be applicable.
5. Take care and keep inventory of the apartment, especially floor and furniture.
6. Any damage caused by negligence will have to be compensated.
